Teaching aims:

From the time immemorial humanised animals have been the source of convincing expression as much for the adult as for the children. Because of its para-human animal significance the bear is the animal with which children identify the most. This significance is reinforced in Ploum by the graphic definition: round shapes, thick outilnes, primary colours.

The situations in which his personality is presented, his relations with the physical or emotional environment, are those of the young child. These two factors are the basis of the "Ploum gets us talking" concept, a teaching tool designed to encourage the expressive faculties of the child. The complementary nature of the two games in this game box enhances the multiplicity of language activities (picture reading, character description, story creation, etc.) while also providing logic and observation exercises.

The Ploum games have been created in the light of a survey of the tastes and activities of children from 2 to 5 years old. It is particularly suited to the psycho-emotional development of pre-school children. It can also be worthwhile with older children in remedial situations.
